CAVAWAC is a Locally Based non-profit and non-commercial organization desirous of empowering women and children especially the girl child by providing opportunities for them. CAVAWAC fights against gender discrimination, violence against women and children, child trafficking and promotes the girl child in all standards of education.

We are committed in our determination to assist in providing a permanent, safe and a caring Haven for children in crisis especially girls, in hopes of ensuring them a more promising future.

We are dedicated in our commitment to the service of humanity and determined to uplift the good image of women.

We are prepared to mobilize ourselves and the limited resources to undertake programmes aimed at promoting understanding and providing positive role models and supportive images of socially marginalized women in the community and the country at large.

The best way to end poverty is to strengthen women in their own struggles, helping them to unleash their own potential to change the world. One of CAVAWAC's priorities is to help women succeed in their businesses (Economic Empowerment). CAVAWAC provides one on one training for women. Even though we have not been able provide any financial support to any woman yet, we have helped a lot to sustain their businesses and keep them going.
